Through UNITY

Through UNITY is a coalition of families who have suffered the loss of a loved one as the result of gun and knife crime. They have joined together with others to tackle the battle for the streets - and our younger generation.
Through UNITY trustees include Richard Taylor, Mike Jervis (Damilola Taylor Trust); Ian and Nathan Levy (Robert Levy Foundation) and Peter Sinclair (Tom Easton Flavasum Trust).
We say, "It's vitally important that we start to educate our young people from an early age to say no to guns, no to knives and no to gangs. Armour and street fighting has no place in today's society - it belongs to the past and should stay there." Twenty-eight teenagers were murdered on London streets in 2007 and eleven by late April 2008.
