Open mic sessions

One of the successful ways to help young people further their interest in music is to give them an opportunity to perform in public. This can be done through open mic sessions at music venues.

The first event took place on 25 September 2008, where five performers and a band played to an audience of around 50 people.

Flavasum is still trying to sponsor more open mic sessions. Discussions have been underway with Troy Bar, 10 Hoxton Street, N1, but dates haven't been fixed yet. We're also looking for other likely venues around London where we can badge and promote regular open mic sessions.
