The Tom Easton Flavasum Trust

Since Tom’s tragic death, his family and friends have set up the Tom Easton Flavasum Trust (Registered Charity 1120245) to try and prevent tragedies like this happening again. The Trust has been named after the music label Tom created to record his first track. Its objectives are:

The promotion of public safety and prevention of crime by raising awareness of the consequences of carrying knives and other weapons and to use music and other creative activities to reach young people in order to further this object.

The aims of the Flavasum Trust are to develop a number of projects, either on its own or with other organisations that have been set up for similar purposes. We realise that it is very difficult to sustain this sort of work – many families find it unbearable just having to deal with their loss. Still, we are determined to try and do something about these random and totally unnecessary killings that leave so many people hurt and grieving. That is why we are supporting Through UNITY, a coalition of families who have suffered a similar loss.

The Trustees are Peter Sinclair (Chair), Dolores Altaras, Daisy Kirkwood, Tal Sinclair, Brendon Harding and James Fletcher.

A short film interview with Tom's mother was made by Dr Kurt Barling (BBC London's Special Correspondent) and can be viewed here.
